My first aircraft accident investigation - Collision into mountainous terrain RF-5F and F-5E.
On September 13, two military fighter aircraft crashed and 3 pilots were killed. A week later, I had a phone call from Taipei headquarters and I agreed to join the investigation immediately. I took the book Aircraft Accident Investigation with me to go to Hualien airbase. Actually, I did not read this book for a long time, because I haven't have any chance to use it. I remember everything in that book. I found probable causes in three days and found more evidences. I was glad I have an opportunity to use what I had learned.
